Lighswitch, I think your in AZ right?? If you are I know we just got some rain so if your car got rained on, you may not have a good seal somewhere (windsheild) allowing water to enter the car, otherwise if you are running your AC still with all our humidity with the storms lately, you could just have excess water in the AC from condinsation and your drain may be plugged. Otherwise just check your coolant tank and any leaks from possibly the heater core, but prob just water from the storm.

Yeah im in AZ. do you know where I should be looking for any leaks or broken pipes under the dash. my friend said it was the heater core but he said if no coolant then its possibly the evaportator. Hmm I open my hood and looked to see if i can trace where it was coming from and i could see where the ac compressor is that there looks like splashes of water and i could here the water hitting my exhaust and making a pshhhh sound, if that can make it more detailed.

And Pest007 what part of AZ you from?

Turn your A/C on and let the car run for awhile sitting in place. If you dont have a puddle under the then your drain tube for your ac is blocked.

I'm in west Phoenix, in Goodyear. If you can hear the water hitting the exhaust then sounds like your drain tube is working fine, mine makes the same sound. As for any water leaks you could have a bad seal from your windshield and water leaking in that way, have you had your windsheild replaced lately? Otherwise sounds like it could be the heater core, but when they go, you will usually notice a big leak, smells funny inside the car, and after you turn it off from running it a while, you can probably hear the leak since the water pressure inside cooling system will rise and cause it to leak, but if your not low on coolant and don't smell anti-freez inside, sounds like you may have just driven through a big puddle or water leaking inside through a hole somewhere

Yeah Im not low on coolant, it doesnt seem like coolant (smells like old sitting water) but when I take a left turn I will hear a lil noise that sounds like vvvvvvvvvvrrrrrr then it starts leaking.

Follow the water back to the source, where is it coming from? There must be a puddle somewhere if its stagnant water...
