Default CAR WON"T START!

I just finished building up forged motor 2 weeks ago and for the last two weekends i have been trying to get it to start but it doesnt want to turn over. I know i need to prime the motor but all i get when i turn the ignition is a click....so i changed the battery and the starter....but i still get a click....
I have know more ideas about what it could be, if anyone has any ideas please let me know and ill try each and every one until the car starts.
jimbo

I have a cobra 8 bolt crank with a aluminum flywheel from fidanza....do i need a starter for a cobra?????

yes the motor can be turned manually, and the battry is relocated in the trunk with the ground to the seatbelt bracket for the back seats.

Have you run a another Ground cable from the motor to the subframe itself or the floor.....?If not you will need to...Or you can runa ground cablefrom the battery to the motor itself for a GOOD solid ground....Really sounds like its not grounding properly...

Thanks guys it finally turned over and started..... i have another question though it seems like the motor was running very very hot....so i checked the thermostat housing. And all the coolant i put in the reservior tank for the raditator hasn't cycled through. the cross over on the intake was empty. How does the coolant go through the system? should i put coolant in the cross over directly?.....Need help quick...
