X-pipe, exhaust size...

Hello,
I was wanting to get a X-pipe set up on my 2002 GT, I saw that Summit sells a custom X-pipe kit (make your own set-up $79.00). My question is, what size do I need? 2.5"or 2 1/4/"?
Any help would be great!

your stock exhaust is 2 1/4 but when people put on aftermarket exhaust its usually 2 1/2

So I would have to get the kit in 2.5"?
Are you from Jersey?
If so, North or South?
