Default Pistons and rods

Ok. You all know my luck so guess what. Cracked rod. Yup i said it. It seems like one thing after another just hits. Ok so im looking at new rods and pistons right now. I want high compression pistons. Nothing over 10:1 though. Thats what they suggested. Whats a good brand that wont break the bank. How much power would i gain in my setup by going from stock pistons to HC ones. . . .
