when my car is idle it accelerates just a tiny bit by itslef without me pushing the gas perdal... any ideas what this is?

for example when im at a red light or in parking....the car revs to like 1.2 rpms by itself that lasts for a second... and im not pushing the gas... ?!

Mine does that as well, also sometimes the revs drop off a bit while I am sitting in neutral. I was told it was nothing out of the ordinary though

Fans, heater, AC, all that stuff will do it.

Have your IAC cleaned while you are at the shop.
