just wanted to get some opinions on what midpipe i should get. i dont get the chance to hear alot of stangs around hear.have you guys heard any mustangs that you were just real impressed with the sound. loud but not obnoxious?

 

If you want to take full advantage of your Magnapacks get the matching Magnaflow x-pipe. That's what I have
I let my mom drive the car around and I was behind her in her Jeep and my GOODNESS GRACIOUS my ears were bleeding of pure woahness.
I have a clip on my cardomain (in my signature - page 2) and go listen. I love it. Loud loud annnnd loud.

 

I have LT's, with an o/r H and its loud. A friend of mine has stock headers, an o/r x, and magnapacks, a little more crisp of a sound mine is a little more muscle sound. Personally I like his x pipe better than my h pipe. I say go for the o/r x pipe

 

He said not obnoxious...... Even with stock manifolds, if you use an O/R pipe and the packs it will be obnoxious. So far ive tried stock h, o/r and catted x and the best sound IMO is the catted x pipe. I have a sound clip with an o/r x, i will try to find it and post it. Sounds like a farm truck IMO. [&:]

 

is there anyway of explaining the difference in sound with the h the x with magnapacks? i really like the sound of my packs alone, but would like a little more of the rasp and a bit louder. also ive heard the magnapacks with various midpipes and it had the wet- fart sound, with alot of decel popping. i want a clean musclecar sound. i watched transformers last week and the stang and camaro in that movie had the best sound i have heard come out of an exhaust.

 

Magnaflow X-pipe, but I'm biased. Try and get an X-pipe with Magnapacks...
