Default window switch question + more

Well some of you know that I was thinking about getting rid of my car for a srt-4 or evo. I realized that my caris my trademark and I cant get rid of it that easy and I just have to much time and money into it. If I do find a Evo 9, I may get rid of it though, but lets concentrate on a few questions I have.Has anyone ever heard of cold fusion nitrous ( http://www.coldfusionnitrous.com/Wet...?CategoryID=37)? Take a look at the 2v kit. It seems pretty nice. Anyway, I planned on using all ZEX untill I heard about this kit. Well the kit can only provide a msd window switch. Do I have to buy a tach adapter to install the msd window switch. Or will it wire up just fine?

MSD makes a model for the coil-on-plug cars that is ready to go. I would recommend Nitrous Express over any other brand [8D]

Does nitrous express make a window switch? If they do how much? Will it work with zex or coldfusion? I agree NX is a very good brand. I prefer to not use soleniods, thats why I choose zex but I am getting interested my coldfusion and the kit available.

The NX window switch is a MSD switch. Sorry to inform you but ALL nitrous kits have solenoids. The ZEX "brain" is a box with tiny solenoids. You WILL NOT get the performance or reliability of a NX kit with it. It's your money though

Yeah I know that there are tiny soleniods in that box but I like to think it dont have them (peace of mind).
I took a look at it and it has to plugs on it. Where do those plugs hook up to?

I just don't feel you're ready forNitrous. I recommend you do a few hours of research before making your decision[8D]

[:-]I guess it's like having unprotected sex with a hooker, as long as she doesn't tell you she has AIDS, you're okay with it? BTW NX solenoids > ZEX solenoids. NX FTW!

I have done LOTS of research on nitrous. I have read the very informative review about it on MF. I undertstand how puddling in the intake comes about and what it causes, dont use below 2500-3k rpms, do not let the rev limiter kick on while using n20, dont use for more than 20 seconds, engine needs to be warmed up, a 150 shot is about it for a stock gt, now advanced timing, can run a 75 shot safely on a stock tune if used correctly, then retard timing will be necesary, colder plugs are needed. I can go on. I used to have a vortech and even a zex kit installed but I didnt get to use it and ended up having to take it off. I appreciate your addvice and I think that everyone needs to do research about nitrous before using it.

How did you get your car to get in the 12's. I went to the track for my first time and could only go 13.8 at 101mph. It was my first time but I expected to atleats run low 13's. How different is your ste-up than mine?

Driver, track, tires,, suspension. elevation. weather. Probly in that order, other stuff will be minor.
