Default Bumpsteer Kit?

I am currently running an Eibach pro kit, and when i finish up my suspension i will be adding on some MM caster/camber plates. What is this bumpsteer kit I see that some people have? Will it be necessary for me to get this with the setup I will be running? What does it do? Thanks

Bump steer kit is to help stop bump steer. When you are lowered and you are taking a turn and hit a bump your steering wheel will jerk. It does this because the tie rods do not stay level like they are supposed to on a stock ride height car. The bump steer kit has spacers that allow you to change the angle of the tie rod. It takes some time to set up correctly and you need to be able to pull the front end down to check it.

Read this, its pretty helpful in understanding it. I would get a bump steer kit if my car was lowered.

from what ive been reading here and other forums, the bumpsteer kits aren't "necessary" to have, but nice. They wont help with traction or anything, but make for a better ride....

yeah i just wasn't sure what this was and ive heard people talk about it before, seems more of a comfort add on than anything. And i honestly think it wouldnt be worth my time/money to swap out the pro kit...once i get u/l control arms, subframes, drag radials i think ill hook pretty good

Yikes, I assumed you had them after blower install! I'd make it a priority to install the subframes[]

I had that set up but with sportlines and couldnt hook for ****. I put cut stock springs in the rear and I'm hooking much better. Stiff springs= no traction.
