my a/c compressor will not kick on when i turn on my a/c. i turned it by hand and it will turn. what is goin on with this. ive spent two weeks in the texas heat and cant take it any more. it is blowing air....just and cold or even cool.

 

check your a/c lines my shortie headers burnt a hole in my low pressure line

 

If the coolant pressure gets low the ac compressor will not not engage unless you fix it. Take it to a good AC shop...

Mine did this about a year ago and some part in the AC was leaking.

The shop sent me to the Ford dealer for a part, and from there they installed the part. They charged me $100 (cash) and the part (from Ford) was $50.

My AC is now ice cold. It his 40F every day now.
