Default Mach 1 Grille Delete

i was about to order it off americanmuscle and i was reading the instructions of the setup and it said their setup doesn't include 2 screws which you get from ford? so i was wodnering what every1 else did

i reused all the stock screws. i think theres enough if you dont screw the botom part in, which most sane people dont do.

The screws and nuts can be bought at Sears, just get the nuts that can't be reversed / backed out (once in place they can't be removed).

alright. i kept reading on and it said again about getting screws that are locked so no one can steal it. so thats wat i think it meant .

when I ordered mine I was worried about that, but I did not need them. what the instructions say is that you should replace the stock screws with the torx bit ones so it doesn't get stolen.

yes that why they suggest you buy the torx screws so the haters dont't steal your emblem.

I just used double sided tape on the pony because I lost patience with those tamper proof discs, o well the pony doesn't budge, double sided tape works wonders!

For the pony emblem I just found some regular old screws and used those, but if your talking about the bottom part, the "grille applique" I didn't wanna bend my bumper back and put the stock screws back in and so to secure it I put some double sided tape under there in between the bumper and grille applique to hold it down, even though it already looked very snug without any.
