Default Missing after PI Swap

Did anyone who did the PI Swap notice afterwards that their car was kind of missing at 1/2 throttle, etc?
I'm think it might be because it hasn't been tuned yet and the bumped compression, but I'm not sure. I set the timing marks up right, the car idles fine, and drives fine until I start to get into it a little bit.

Are you sure it's a miss or just the cams lobing a little bit. Mine does the same thing since I put the cams in but I'm thinking it's them lobing. If anyone else knows better or has had similar experiences let us know for sure.

Oh wait never mind...I just saw where you said it ran fine until you got into it. Mine feels like a miss at idle not when I get on it

Anyone else notice the significant power gain or was that just me to?

The car feels quicker, but when I try to get on it a little bit...it misses. Or that's what I think it does.

Any input would help. I was just going to take it up to the tuner and go from there...

What about plug wires? When I changedthe intake manifold on my old 98 GT, it did the same thing that you are describing until I changed the plug wires.

I'm running FRPP 9MM. O man, I think I know what it is. I'm re-using the plug wires from before. They only had about 10K on them, so I figured I could re-use them. Alright I'll replace wires and take it from there.

I wouldn't replace the wires so soon. I used my old wires that have about 25K on them when I did my PI swap. After the swap I noticed my car idles funny, but that's it. I need to get it tuned, though.

I used the old wires and they had like 100k on em and they were fine, my car idled wierd for a bit till the computer figured out what was goin on. After I went to the store and a friends house it was fine before I got a tune. Idk why it would feel like its missing at part throttle. I would assume detonation atWOT but not part, idk. What about the plugs themselves, do you have new plugs or recently changed plugs?

Yeah the plugs are brand new, so I don't know if that'll be the problem.

I want to say it's because the car now has bumped compression and needs to be tuned...but if no one else had problems like that then I'm not too sure..
