Default Compression Test Results

Cylinder#1 - 152(slow), #2 - 150(slow), #3 - 180, #4 - 170, #5 - 178, #6 - 170, #7 - 170(slow), #8 - 152(slow)

Car was warm, each time i cranked it over about 4 times, 5 for the slow ones. If i was to have a bad valve, wouldn't it be like 90 compression or something? I also found a good amount of oil on the spark plug threads on #'s 3 and 4, more on 4.

Car is also now throwing lean codes after i took it down the street to get gas. Do you guys think that with the new pi cams that my maf porting (removed middle shaft) which was done a couple months back could be throwing things out of wack? I also have a slight exhaust leak between midpipe and passenger manifold.

Something seems wrong when you have a differance of 30 psi between two cylinders. I did a compression test on my car after the PI swap and im running between 190 to 205 in all cylinders.

generally your not supposed to have more than a 25 psi variation in compression, to check for a bad valve a leakdown test would be more appropriate.

A slow build-up to borderline numbers generally indicates worn rings/pistons/cylinders...
