Im getting 3.73's soon and just wanted to know if theirs a particular model or brand thats better than the other.

I know mustangtuning.com has a good deal on the Motive gears but most likely I will buy them from ebay to save a few dollars. So any 3.73 for a 8.8 rear end will fit my car?

I was looking on the FRPP website and they have a new model number for the 3.73 gear cause they redesigned it or something? Anyone know something about that?

just pick a brand. like FRPP or richmond.

Motive's, being a good gear, typically require alot of shimming to get right and some of the shims get expensive (carrier shims) if needed. I would spend the extra dough and get FRPP. They typically require minimal shimming to work (under .020")

Any gear for a 8.8 will work. Just be wary of buying used gears. you never know how well they were set-up the first time.

Get the FRPP gears....look on summit racing's web site. That's where I got mine.

I got my Ford Racing gears off ebay. I paid $90 shipped. they were like new, but you could get screwed if they werent put in right.
