BATTERY ACID!!!!!!

j/king, I have had good luck with Lifter One Bug and Tar and Turtle Wax Bug and Tar Remover. The turtle wax one kinda leaves a just waxed finished but the lifter one is stronger in my opinion.

a wet rad, prefferrably a nice THICK terry cloth one wet ad then Microwaved so it iis HOT! simply lay it on the gutsy area and let it sit. It will re-juice the bugs, and makes them easy to get off. Another trick I use sometimes is to take jst straight car wash soap (I use Meguires NXT Wash) adn just wipe a sorta heavy layer on the bugs and let it sit. Kinda does what the rag does.

[:'(]I worked in autoparts stores for 7 years, I've seen what auto car washes are capable of... not pretty.

Actually the thing that I find works the best are wet dryer sheets. They will take off any bug guts, tar, etc and not hurt the paint at all. Been doing it for months now.

80 grit sandpaper will work very well in this situation (LOL). Seriously I take my car to the car wash as soon as I see the bug splatters and wash them off with the high pressure hose. Anything that is left I get it off with a soapy rag.
