only 04 model years needed them for some reason, so no you shouldn't need em. I have an 02 GT and didn't need extentions for my X

Huh?

If you have the o/r x, of course you need them. This guy is asking if they're needed WITH aftermarket cats.

"...well i have to not yet got them..." Is that English??

Leen????? Without cats and without O2 sensors, you will run RICH, not lean, which will hurt gas mileage. Lean would actually save gas, but could do engine damage.

Why would it just do it for the first 3 days? What am I missing here?

Sorry, just got annoyed I guess.

exactly what he said, only the 04's need 02 extensions. you'll be fine, should bolt right up w/ no problems

I have 03 gt, slp x and lm1, and the only issue I had was the driver side flange didn't fit snug on the stock exhaust manifold...leaks a tad bit. just a little taptaptaptaptap....

yes only 04 cars need the extentions

i bought mine used from someone local, and im pretty sure my cats are not round. it is a older pipe, maybe 2-3 years old. it was on a garage queen tho so it was almost new when i put it on.

also im not sure the new ones come with the race pipes you can swap in place of the cats, the guy hadthem when i bought it from him
