That all depends on the tune you got with the SCT. Predator and SCT do the same thing, it just depends on how your tune was set up and how many options they gave you in the tune. I got mine from Modular Powerhouse as I heard their tunes were pretty good. I get the option to play with Differential gear ratio, Transmission shift points (mines automatic), spark (this is your timing and wouldnt mess with it if not sure on what you are doing). If you got it pre-tuned, you had to have let the tuner know what mods you had in your car and any preferences you wanted....like turning off Traction control and stuff. Hope this clears it up some. BTW SCT forums are very useful on the subject.

i got mine from brenspeed which came with three tunes, 87/91/93. the tune did not come with t/c perminantley off, i emailed him and he sent me a new 93 tune with no t/c.

so it just depends on where you got it from, as to which options you have availableto change.

The point of traction control is to keep the tires from spinning so if you can lite them up with no prob then chances are its either turned off or you just dont have it. I would guess ya dont have it. its kinda a easy thing to figure out
