also i disconnected the clutch cable from both the bottom.. and inside.. but how is it gonna actually come off the transmission where it is hooked onto? does the whole line come out with the tranny? or can you somehow disconnect where it is connected?
and please help with that starter bolt lol..

Somebody correct me if im wrong but I believe there are 5 tranny bolts. 3 left and 2 right.
Also supposed to be 3 starter bolts.. bottom middle and top.
You can disconnect the clutch cable from the tranny by moving the fork forward, then sliding it out the hole.

ok what am i missing? tranny still wont come down.. i've taken 3 left bolts.. 2 right bolts.. 2 starter bolts.. (including the top one).. 2 metal gasket bolts on the bottom.. 4 bolts from cross member.. what else?? if there are 2 top bolts.. how am i supposed to get to it? is the tranny supposed to tilt a certain way?
The two top bell housingbolts you can get at through the engine bay (just lean over the fenders). There are 3 starter bolts. You can't really even see the top one. I bet you haven't gotten it yet. Oh, and you can leave that top starter bolt out when you put it all back in.

And I ended up cracking the 3rd bolt on my starter by accident because I swore up and down there were only 2. so yes, although you cant see it, there should be three.
