No, it hurts gas mileage, mainly for two reasons:
1) Constant parasitic drag
2) You'll be going WOT more often

if you were worried about gas mileage, youshouldn't have bought a stang
. the more mods i did the lower the gas mileage got. mainly because i am on it when there is road in front of me. i usaully get 16-17mpg. no super or turbo just mild cams. any waysi wouldn't even care what the gas mileage was if i had a super on board

the only performance mod that really gives u better gas mileage is a nice k&n filter
