ORIGINAL: 97targa lol....ahahahahahahaa that was funny. They are Vacuum lines not coolant lines. Yes you need them hooked up, and no it wouldn't give yu more power if this were the case. Your waterpump would still be pumping the same no matter what and that's where your hp loss goes. Ohh and a cooler intake charge creates power, so if your buddy removed the lines he will lose hp because he will be putting hot air instead of cold denser air into his intake!..idiot...your friend |

Yeah I realized that after I posted, but I'm not gonna go back and delete things!!! Just the fact that people think re-routing lines, removing air silencer, installing a short shifter, putting lower temp thermostats in are all going to give drastic increases in hp! It blows my mind.

ive seen coolant through the throttlebodyon saab's as well (GM) lol. i believe some volkswagens have it as well.
