which series are the best ? in flow and sound i have a supercharger and nitrous hookup on this 97 and would like to know if i put stock mufflers on it what would it do to the system flow ..right now it has some beat up mufflers with alot of holes that sounds loud and nice lol but need real mufflers and would like to stay with the flowmasters ..are the 40 series any good i noticed they where like stainless ,,,but the ones i have had in the past where black and that was a while ago...so if you have the time drop me a line on what you think will work best for flow and sound ...rogerwilco

I can't talk about other mufflers, I stay with flowmaster no matter what, I like the sound. I have 40's and they sould pretty good. The delta 40's series don't have as great as a growl to them, but sound ok. They also have been advertising the 30's series which I have no personal experience with but have seen split decisions and likes and dislikes posted on the internet. I think there is a clip of them on youtube and you can get an idea of sound off of that. Flowmasters webpage has sample sounds of the rest of the mufflers on their site.

Flowmasters 30s sound good. My friend has an '00 GT with a Prochamber with 30 series Flowmasters and they are very deep and loud.

Super 44's! They have alot better flow and tone that the original 40's. We (YearOne.com) have them for $79 each.

10 series (single chamber) very deep and loud mufflers. Look them up on flowmsters website. I couldn't be happier with them.
