Default Car Problem Help!

Ok, I have a 98 Mustang GT. The only thing I have done to it is put a K&N filter and a short throw shifter. My car starts over for a brief second and then dies.. If I start the car over and push my foot on the accelerator, it will keep the car going but the moment I let off the gas, it will die. I went to auto zone and they said it was my alternator... Well I changed the SOB in the parking lot, and I did not have a problem until a few days later. It seems like when I start the car in the mourning it is ok, but when I let it sit in the hot sun, it has this problem starting...I gurantee its not the battery, the starter, or the alternator... (well I almost guarantee...)

Things I am conidering = cleaning out my K&N, maybe changing the spark plugs... ?
Any input on this..? PLease Help!

Have you ever cleaned the IAC. If not, I'd start there.

i know there are pictures here somewhere on this site, do a search. Or you can look in the "How to Section" I know there is a AIC mod there which should have pictures of its location. It is attached to the plenum
