Default Torque arm setup

I've been doing some research on a suspension setup that involved just a torque arm, a panhard bar, rear coilovers, and the elmination of the control arms altogether. I'm wondering how streetable this is. According to Maximum Motorsports its actually a very desirable setup for a street/strip car. Then again they sell this setup so there's some bias for you. Anyone have any input or personal experience with this?
