I've got a 1997 Cobra with only 54,000 miles and I was thinking of putting a Zex 100 shot kit, window switch, bottle warmer, etc....I'm dying to buy the kit, Im just worried it might mess something up. Any advise would be much appreciated. This car only gets drove about 1 or 2 every other week.
There is of course an inherent risk, just like there is with any modification to a car. However, Nitrous systems are very safe, as long as you are willing to spend the money on all the failsafes. Make sure that you get a good tune, and run colder spark plugs, and I would not be worried about a 100 shot at all.
You will be safe with 100 wet shot.
I am running it on my car and shes still runnin like new.
Make sure you retard your timing as well. Just to be safe.
I much time would a 100 shot knock off an 1/8 mile. Im sure it makes a big difference on an 1/4, but the closest 1/4 for me is Rockingham. About a 2 hour drive.
Ok, I guess you know the are better than I do, I'm only half way across the state and there is not even an 1/8th strip wthin and hour and a half of my house Cary, NC ..... FTL[:'(]
