i have only started my car a few times since nov.1. the trans in my jeep is shot, and i cant get a trans till friday after work. should i do anything before i drive it besides checking the oil or anything like that?? i live in michigan where it is cold, and snowy weather[:@]

 

Maybe check the battery? I have no clue what else. It should be alright though. A little over 3 months without driving isn't too long.

 

i let mine sit since november....with random start ups.
i checked all my fluids,and went the route of changing oil/filter,and plugs......it was running pretty crappy before then.
if your oil smells gassy,and is pitck black i'd do the same as i did,just to be safe.
