I am currently working on selling my Jeep to get a mustang. I will have about 8-10K once I sell it to spend. What do you guys recommend getting? I was thinking about getting a 99-03 with lowest possible miles. I need somthing that will last me through most of college till I can get a dd. Do you guys think I should get a pre-built or close to stock GT?

Always get a close to stock or stock car if you're looking for a DD. Modded Stangs only mean one thing - and you should know what that is! [&:]

stock is good, means you have a greater chance of a non-abused car. Of course someone could of modded the hell out of it, returned it stock and sold it, but we will never know will we?

mini-hijack 96GT226410, do you live in Houston?

It depends, if you want a modded mustang then buy one thats already modded and save yourself a ton of money and work. I also wanna say that just because a mustang is modded doesnt mean that its run harder, Hell i would venture to say the person took better care of it because they had more money in it and had the right mind to mod it. I say get a 99 or a 2000 gt that is mildly modded with low miles. When it comes to mods their loss is your gain.
