Hello all, new to the forums here. Been browsing around here for a while since this was my first ever Ford purchase and decided I needed some help. I purchased this car about a month ago near New Jersey from Daniel Ford. I took the pretty long drive down there to purchase it because my father saw it for sale on the web and had me call them. Was told that "yes" it was a Boss mustang but now that I have had some time to do a little searching around for info I'm thinking I was lied to. They had 2 at there lot when i got there this yelo one which I bought and a red one with silver decals, and I found on here near where I live that is black with the silver stripes. Just hoping someone here that has knowledge with these cars can maybye shed some light on this for me. I got the car for 15k with 15,000 miles on it so either way i still got a pretty good deal on the car but this thing about me being lied to from the dealer real has me bugged. Please Help!

Yes I think you were lied to. I am pretty sure they didn't have a "BOSS" package for the 99-04 mustangs. I know they did it for the 96-98 body style (SN95). They only think they did to your car appears to be decals and chrome rims. [&:]

Well I am not sure, but it looks like they did lie to you, if you go on http://www.crossroadzdirect.com/ that website and look under the body/exterior they do have BOSS Shindoa kits that you can get for the 2001-2003 mustangs. You do have a registration/inspection process. From the pic you posted it does no look like the kits on that website so i don't think you have a BOSS mustang. But like Slvergt said if you like it what is the difference if it is or not. The one thing you have to remember about Dealers is that they will tell you what they think you want to hear to make the sale. Enjoy the car and slap some mods on it. IMO

You got hosed on the Boss part, but you did pay a decent price for it, so it's excuseable!
