Default BBK Shorty Headers

Does anybody have BBK Shorty headers, i am looking for the mean sound, my 97 gt has more than enough HP and Torque. If you have any other headers that have a very deep mean sound please help me out. Thanks

Why not shorties??? I am mostly looking for the sound, i dont think that i can get long tubes can i??? from what i read i would need a new midpipe and with emmisions in PA i dont really want to screw with my cadilatic converter...if there is a way to do long tubes and use the stock midpipes please let me in on it or what type is worth the money for the midpipe with the converter and the long tube.....one more thing is there a big difference in noise?

Please dont insult for any of the above i really am new to messing with my exhaust...any more help would be great i dont want to regret spending money on something less than my expectations.
Thanks

i have bbk shorties and only cuz im in the tree huggin cali... if you can get the lt's shorties will help out a lil bit more if you are f/i but even then not enough for the 8 hours of hard labor to put them in. as far as fitment goes. the fit perfect and i have had not one leak. so if you in a restrictive state i would say that should be you last mod other wise get lt's now.

What is f/i mean, i was going to get an estimate on how much it would cost for somebody else to do them...damn 8 hrs is a long time for these. did you feel any improvement at all when you put them on???

go with MAC long tubes and if you want to still pass inspection get some high flow cats, you cant go wrong with longtube plus shorties are just pretty stock exhaust maifolds, you wont see as much of a power increase with them. but yes if you put on L/T you will have to get a new mid pipe, buts its all good, just addin more power
