Default CEL question

Ijust got my 04' Mustang GT andI am getting the Flowmaster American Thunder cat-back exhaust. I am wanting to get an O/R mid. H pipe but im afraid of it effecting the CEL. Can anyone help me out. Thanks.

Yes, its going to throw a code and make your CEL come on...
Just buy you some MIL eliminators with it and youre good to go.

yeah

get some mil's or a handheld tuner and the cel will not be thrown because of the rear 02's. i opted for the tuner when i went o/r.

Does it affect the car at all if you dont get MILs right away? Or can you ride while the lights on?

Some people will say that you do not lose HP, and your gas milage stays the same while your CEL is on.
That is [sm=bs.gif]....

Its not going to hurt the car driving around with the CEL on for awhile, as long as its just because of the o2 sensors... Ive been driving my car around for about the last 3 months with mine on... waiting on my tuner.
