Default Supercharger before tires??

Well Ive saved up an assload of money, around 4500 and for xmas im thinking about treating myself to a vortech v2 sq. I really cant think of anything that i would rather spend my money on and ppla re asking for xmas ideas (gauges seem like a good gift) but idk if i should go with a suprecharger for sure just yet. I ahve continental contisport tires with probably 50% tread left on them. If i buy a supercharger ill only have like $500 left. I dont want to go completely broke but i dont want to supercharge and then crash the damn car because of bad tires. Should i wait and just keep saving up or supercharge and take it easy for a while?

I would put the safety of you and your vehicle first in this case, plus 4500 is a nice lump of change. You never know something really nice might go on sale over holiday. Save the money man, get yourself a nice set of tires and enjoy your holiday.

Buy the blower and two rear tires. You have plenty enough for that.

For a daily driver that don't go to the track, I say Nitto 555Rs. They work really well on the street and in wet weather compared to the other sticky tires out there. A regular ol street tire, even brand new, don't stand a chance with a blower. I figured that out for myself. Bought a set and traded them out for a set of drag radials two weeks later.

I'd get tires first just to be sure you're good to go for when the time comes too hit the boost.
