H&R for performance and Ford if you want to retain a little ride quality.

My Eibachs are being replaced with H&Rs very soon....

How much money do you have in your budget? If it doesnt really matter, I would get some coilovers... I have the eibach sportlines and I love them. Great stance and great handling. The ride can be a little harsh on back roads, but on the highway they ride great.

What are your goals? you seem to be jumping around a bit, my slp pop when I'm decelerating from 4.5k in 2nd gear. But I have lmI's and a slp catted x. Air ride is nice, I have not personally ridden in one so I cannot say as to how its performance is. I currently own maximum motorsports coilovers, they are harsh but they allow me to grip to the road much better than a normal spring/shocks/strut combo on our chassis. Springs arent what makes your car ride harsh or soft, it's the shocks/struts, alot of people go the cheap route and buy springs and install them with the stock shocks/struts and then complain about the harshness, go look around for what you like.

Cheapest setup that I've sat in and liked is h&r supersports with tokico 5way adjustables set to medium.
The most expensive setup I've liked is a gtr40 (full griggs race car)

What does it mean to cut the dead coil off of the c-springs and remove the isolators? Probably a dumb question but I dont know.

What I understand is that some springs are progressive rate which means after time your car will get lower not by alot but the springs will begin to settle. When they settle its either the top or the bottom coil(s) are not used as much (I really dont know how to word that) so cutting them will give you a little more drop, with little, if any noticable ride quality change. Removing spring isolators means taking the rubber rings out from under where your springs meet their arms.

Hope that helped....anyone please correct me if I am wrong.
