Wll a trickflow intake plenium from a 99 mustang gt fit a 98 mustang gt?thanks!

Yes. Some of the vacuum fittings may be different sizes, but if you buy the TF plenum new, it comes with both sizes you might need for your model year and application.

correct me if i am wrong, but i thought that the pleniums on non PI engines (98) were different from the PI engines (99-04)

Lower intake is different, the upper intake plenum and T/B are same

I thought that the plenum didnt even matter unless the motor was supercharged, or if you really need the extra airflow, say for big cams and such?

Thats what I thought. The chambers can only take in so much air and arent they already getting that much with stock intake or a simple CAI

its not about making it bigger it just allows for a smoother flow, at least the plenium. the less turbulence the better.
