Default i want a 500rwp 04 cobra.

i have a low mile 04 cobra with eaton charger. bolt ons include a 2.80 pulley kn air filter mac h pipe and 3 1/2 in catback and sct jdm tune. the car currently makes 443rwp but i know there is more to be gained.is there a better tune out there?I WANT TO STAY WITH A PUMP GAS TUNE.HOW about an irsgear swp to a 373 or 410?there has been some close calls with LSI cars on the street so i think 5oorwp should give me plenty room for error in stop and go combat.how much power can a Lsi car with a good set of heads, a cam, and intake make anyway?lockhartblake@yahoo.com

Have your eaton ported. That should take you closer. Is there a bigger/smaller pulley available that makes more PSI than what you have now?

buddy in my shop has a 500rwhp 03 cobra. i know his stock blower is ported and he has a smaller pulley running 16 or 18lbs of boost i believe, and i think some other minor stuff done.

its ls1 not lsi btw. cam, intake, exhaust and a good tune puts them at ~400rwhp so adding heads even more.

gears will be a good investment, i dont know if i would go with 410's on street tires though. my buddys cobra can burn the tires out going 45mph in 4th gear and i believe thats with te stock gears.

get your blower ported and get a good dyno tune and u should be about 500. if not you could always add a 50 shot of spray and only use it for those close races.

A guy I work with is pushing 502 to the wheels with a stock blower. He has LT's, x-pipe, 3.5" cat back, 2.8 upper, can't remember what size lower pulley (he's making 18 lbs of boost), SCT tune, steeda intake, and steeda blower belt tensioner. These things can hit 500 to the wheels pretty easily.

A friend of mine's sig. No port, no LTs.I was there for the dyno pull. A Steigy port would get you there easier, but it's very possible....

I would suggest Long tubes first, then 3.73 gears then port/replace your blower
