Bummer man. Is the sound really loud like a rod knock or your sure it's from the head? I'm sure you put your mechanics ear up to it so I'll go from there. At redline with a supercharger the aluminum heads get a kick in the pants because of the vast amount of heat that is produced. My guess is you burned up a guide. If the noise isn't super lud and more so annoying, I would try to throw some Slick 50 in there and maybe that will quite it down and coat the surface long enough for you to save up a few bucks to get a fresh set of heads on there. Honestly, I wouldn't run a supercharger without the best intercooler available and also step tube headers. I know Kooks are a mouthful to swallow as far as expense, but they are wll worth it. They have larger primaries to rid the heat away from the head as soon as possible to avoid these instances. Ohh, LT's is a must, do you have shorties? Stockers are the worst!

Does it only make the noise at redline or once it started it kept making it even at an idle?

idle to redline does not change in volume only in frequency with the rpm, I was thinking broken valve spring.

Yea, it could be. Pull the vavle cover and see what's doing it. I was thinking for a min it could be detonation but if it kept doing it afterward then something has come loose in there. You said it didn't hurt the performance though so I'm not sure if it would be a valve spring or not. It should have lost some power if a spring went.

I only gassed it once after it happened car isover 400rwhp so even dropping a cylinder if it did it still lit up the tires when I hit it, I will have to check it out after the christmas break, and let you know what I find, I hope I can fix it soon it will suck if I have to wait for the built motor, to much down time but if I have to do it it is going to be done right.
