all the ones i've dealt with have been good,

but there are numerous different companies out there that build this stuff, just depends on how much you're wlling to spend (and generally you get what you pay for)

i mean i wouldn't mind payin for top quality lt headers as long as they fit and perform great, i just want to do it once and do it right. i just don't want to go through the trouble of having to spend more money cus of fitment issues or leaks, etc. due to poor quality headers.

I just installed MAC's on my car. As far as I could tell they were made very well. Everything fit in with no problems, which is the big problem with BBK's. I have an auto as well. As long as you get ceramic coated I don't see how one brand could be better than another...they're just metal tubes.

I have SLP longtubes on my auto02 GT. I love them...they sound great, and quality/fitment was perfect.

My friend had a set of MACs on his and he said they sucked to he switched to the BBKs. I have the BBKs too and I love them. Nice sound and performance gains.

BBK's dont fit autos.

Straight from American Muscles website: "These headers are designed for mustangs with manual transmissions."
