Default Rough idle and rough acceleration

I have 1996 GT Vert stock daily driver. Has 105K on it and 2 days ago started to struggle on acceleration. Started it up today and worked fine for a couple miles then it started getting really rough. When I et it idle it idles arond 750prms and goes up and down slightly. To sum it up, I just feel random losses of poewr during acceleration and its driving rough. I hear a lot of stangs have this problem but it various on what fixes it. I heard possibly bad TPS, Tranny fluid needs change, or sparkplugs are bad? Havent changed either the spark plugs or the fluid lately. Dont drive her hard either. thanks for any possible help.

could be any number of things.. routine maintenance. bad plug, air filter, fuel filter, maf sensor, bad PCV valve, failing fuel pump, bad injector. etc.

start with the easier and cheaper ones.. and work your way up. #1 fuel filter.. #2 air filter.. #3 valve or plugs....you get it.

When you start it up, does white smoke come out of the tailpipe..?

Sorry, was your Defroster on? It turns on the A/C to dry the air.

The IAC will give a code that wont go off. Clean yours before you buy a new one. Carb cleaner or brake cleaner will work.
