Default new driveshaft

on christmas night, i broke my driveshaft in half... dumping it at 3 grand. it just split...had to get my car towed..

what kinda driveshaft would yall recomend?

aluminum?

or carbon fiber so that way if this happens agian it would just shred and not **** anything up in my car...

right on. yeah im just looking at this ford racing aluminum driveshaft and loop.. will that hold it down pretty good? haha

i just installed my lakewood driveshaft loop. my gf got it for me for christmas for 30 bux i think, it was a really easy install.

yea it'll hold up pretty good, I would look around and see if you can find a weld in loop, the reason why is because I would never recommend drilling into our weak unibody.

yea the lakewood bolts rite to the floor under the seats. i welded the bolts to a plate i made so i could just slip them under the seat without having to take the seats out or having to have someone hold the bolts with a wrench. theres already no carpet in my car so i guess that helped too.

heh, I'm just not looking forward to how much lower it'll make my underbody... my cats are already 1" off the ground lols.. when I install my TA/PHB/driveshaft loop, I am gonna bottom out everywhere=P
