Whats up everyone, i have been looking into getting a 1999-2004 Mustang Gt, but i am worried about one thing. I am scared that the gt will waste a lot of gas and i cant afford that, so i was wondering about how much u guys spend a week in gas? Thanks in advanced!

 

Depends on how much you'll drive it, how much highway and city, auto or 5 speed, and how you drive. There's a lot of answers here. Be more specific ...

I get 16-18 around town and about 23-25 on highway.

well i'd have a 5 speed..mostly city driving,and it would be a daily driver. I'd be driving it to school and work, so it would be used about 10-12 miles in the city everyday.

 

my gas is bad =/

 

about 18 or 19 Miles to the Gallon Auto here!

 

if you are comparing it to mustang 6er there really isnt that much of a difference that should stop you buying a gt

 

I get about 10mpg anound town, but I have 4.10s, a blower, and a heavy foot.

 

I was actually considering some time of 4banger because of gas, but a gt is just so sexy..im going to have to just drive lightly because im sold on the mustang. Thanks guys, you have been great help!

 

As long as you go easy on the pedal, you should get at laround 15-17 town and 22-25 on the freeway. I'll wanr you though, it'll be tough![sm=gears.gif]
