Default Shorty Headers/BBK Under Drive Pulleys

First off I will never buy or put any mod on my car without you guys input. I got burned once never again! So far on my 03 Gt I have flowmaster catback exhuast, and a o/r h pipe. I am thinking about buying shorty headers. Will the headers help or hurt my cars performance? I was thinking about BBK. I purchased some BBK under drive pulleys. I thought that they were some of the best. I have read that they are piggy back and to avoid them like the plague. Is this true? Thanks guys for all of your help!

i had bbk equal length shorties on my 03, i loved em. i cant say i felt a difference in the drivers seat, but for $279 they were great for the added mpg. also, if you plan to mod upsome more you never have to worry about the ultra restictive stock manifolds.

[align=left]Yeah I put both mods on my car, but I wouldn't recommend putting the piggy back style on your car. Go with steeda pulley for the best performance. It is a very slight difference in hp but steeda's are that much better. If you want a lil more performance you could also go with Long tube headers, but that would make you get a short mid pipe or modify the mid pipe you already have it connect to them. The bad part of doing this though usually when people lower their car they have clearance issues with the headers. Just my .02 just whatever you decide is cool.

Yeah I've heard the same thing about the piggy back style udp's. I will buy the steeda's and try and sell the BBK's. If I were to put the shorty headers on my car will it be a issue as far as the clearance. My car is dropped preety low. Thanks again guys!

Yeah I had mine dropped lower than in the pic and I didn't have clearance problems with it I just raised it back up because of the DD I had. But you should fine just go slow over bumps and such.

Yeah same with my stuff. I had to make it super small I'm kinda pissed cuz when it's bigger it looks so much better lol, but what can you do, or if anyone who reads this thread can they help me and make or something so the picture can be bigger?

your file is too large bc you have to re size it go to www.photobucket.com set up an account (its free) and get your pic in the sig where it would be larger. go to new member area and it will go into better detail about this, my question is i have the bbk udp's and i hated the way the balancer attached to the crank pulley is this what you mean by piggy back and the steeda set will eliminate that?

Yeah I'm pretty sure that is what it is I'm not 100 percent sure, but that is the downfall of the pulley set. I knew like you had have a img code and all from photobucket. I just can't figure out how to get the picture to show up it just shows text.
