brake issue again
new brake line, new brake caliper an the front pass side is still sticking bad.i start the car it does good,i drive about 2 miles or so an it starts to lock up an the brake pedal will get hard, but if i make it go it will release about anotehr mile.an the brakes are smoking by this time.an the steering wheel is shacking the whole time that it does it.an if i start the car an let it idle for about 15 mins the brake pedal will get hard to.any ideals.cause this is a real pisser
It may bethe caliper. Had the 2 rear ones changed at firestone few years back. Drove off the lot, left rear brake smoking bad. Felt like I was dragging an elephant. went back. They re-adjusted it.
stock caliper, bled the lines an the master cylinder, the only way i bleed them is to have my wife pump the brake about 6 or 7 times, then turn the bleeder screw, fliud was shooting out dam good,i know i dont have air in them.but i just talked to my mecahinc an he said it was the brake booster.he said if it was the brake divider both front tires would be locking up.so i guess ill have it at his garadge for a couple of days figuring it out
It was not necessary for you to bleed the master, but to do it all you should have to do is have someone slowely put the pedal to the floor and release the air. This should only have to be done once if done correctly. I'd re-bleed the calipers in the same fashion that you have already done. Also make sure you dont have any leaks from that power steering boost asist crap these cars have.

It usually takes about 3 pumps of the pedel to get the air out of the lines.
