Default Help!

I posted this over in the Saleen forum but figured I may get a little more traffic over here.

I have an 01 sc Saleen that has recently started doing something rather strange. Here I was pulling into my apt complex after a long day of work, I stop at the gate and go into nuetral. Next thing I know the engine is revving up to about 3000 rpm'sand stays there. I put the car in 1st and slowly drive in. go into nutral again and get the same thing. This time the trip guage goes blank and then displays ---------- then goes back to normal 5 or so seconds later.
I park, check hoses, clean air filterand hope the next morning everything will be fine. I start the car and have a VERY rough idle. It would flucuate from 900-500 rpm's basically chugging shaking the whole car. I start down the road and get a very distinct whining sound from the engine/sc. I didn't go above 3000 rpm's and the sc was making a whining sound.
I have checked all hoses and everything seems to be secure and not cracked. Does anyone have any ideas of what could be going on here?

Same thing happened to a buddy of mine, I know it sounds funny but check all of your fuses. His mileage actaully stopped recording, the car would rev on its own as well as just randomy die while going down the road. Hope that helps.

Checked fuses. They all seem to be good. It is kind of dark out so I will recheck tomorrow. Is there any one in particular?
