Default Installing TB and Plenum

I am going to install a throttle body and plenum next week and was wondering if I can expect any power gains without getting a tune after the install. I don't have a tuner yet and don't want to pay somebody else to do it. If my ECU will automatically adjust to the install, I'll worry about the tune later. I just want to make sure that it will not harm it to do the install and not the tune. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

it won't do any harm, but yes a tune will make the most out of your mods.

Just my two cents but you're better off letting an experienced tuner tune your car unless you have a dyno in your garage or something. A tuning shop will dyno before and after so you know what you are gaining from the tune. I got mine done for 275.00. As far as the TB is concerned, I don't think the tune will gain you much in this area, but it won't hurt either. I believe most of these settings are controlled by your ECU.
