Default V6 to GT

Hey are there any gt owners who started with the v6 and then moved on ot the gt? what did u think of the difference when u got the gt? is it that big of a difference??

never had a v6, nor drove a 99+ one(drove a 96 and boy was that a dog). But i will tell you now that it SHOULD BE a BIG difference going from a v6 to a GT. Much more torque and HP...responds a lot better to mods..and has o so much more potential than a v6. Remember the v6 was not made for performance...it was simply made for those who wanted the mustang name, no offense of course. That is why the 3.8 barely has an aftermarket.

i started off with a v-6, put exhaust, shifter, and cold air intake. it didnt run bad. the reason for the v-6 in the first place was for my wife. I was bored one day and test drove a gt. big difference in power. anyway, i traded.

I worked at ford and drove a bunch of stangs, the difference is night and day.
