Default Good shock/strut/spring combo?

I was just wondering if these KYB GR-2 shocks/struts with the Vogtland (1.5 inch drop) springs is a good deal for $380 shipped?
does anybody know the quality of these two brands.

Default RE: Good shock/strut/spring combo?

KYB are awesome, no complaints, but the springs I am unfamiliar with and personaly I wouldgo for Eibach or M&M springs. Are you lowering it for the sole purpose of have your car lowered or for performance & handling. Eibach springs are only going to lower your car about an inch, where as many other spring company's offer springs for up to 3" or more. Anything more then an inch I recommend a good set of C&C plates, M&M offers those as well.

www.maximummotorsports.com good site for info and suspension parts.

hope this helps.
