Underdrive pulleys

RE: Underdrive pulleys
a short-throw shifter won't help you out in the HP department, but it's definitely an upgrade you should do if you plan on doing any kind of racing. the 2nd-to-3rd shift with the stock shifter is terrible, i'm convinced that you can cut at least a tenth or two off your shifting time with a good short-throw shifter. quicker ET without the need for more horsepower... a worthwhile upgrade if you ask me.

Back to the question at hand...
You aren't going to get pushed back into the seat with all the new found power by installing UDP's, but they do provide a very modest gain and, depending on which set you use, a little under-the-hood bling. Summary points...
[ol][*]Make sure that you get full pulleys, not piggybacks (as pointed out above)[*]Aluminum is better (lighter) but the difference between an aluminum and a good quality steel set is going to be pretty nominal. (Steeda being the benchmark for the steel sets, imo)[/ol]
Make your choice, spend the coin, bolt 'em on!
