Default Decision time, guys.

Since i'm not too crafty on making a poll thread, this will have to do for the time being.

My car had 67k miles when I bought her back in this past April, now she has 92k. My trans is starting to grind 2nd and 3rd gear shifts, certain spots of my paint are nearly unrepairable without serious wetsanding and buffing, and my interior is basically falling apart with everything squeaking and rattling.

My question is should I try and piece together a Vortech kit via the Superchargersonline strategy and spend all the money having my trans rebuilt and fixing up my interior and all, or trade up for an almost new S197 with exactly what I want and do some boltons and suspension? I'm in college, so saving this money is sort of a pain in the neck, even though I work full time.

I sort of got talked into this car, and I definitely got ripped off badly. I paid 11,000 for it with 67,000 miles on it. Seemed like a good deal at the time but I still owe 10 grand. A dealership around here is willing to give me 8-8.5 for it, and the only number I can even get remotely close to private party is 9k in its condition.

Please! I need advice!

My car's second wiped out around 20,000 miles. The synchronizers went bad, they fixed it under warranty. I know 3 other people who had the same problem with 2nd gear. Dealer's won't give you much for a trade in. Me personally, I would keepthe car.

well from the sig pic, the paint looks fairly good? as far as you being in colledge, i would keep the car. finish paying it off then get another. if you buy a new one, that is just further into debt you will be. i personally would just fix it and keep it. but that is just my .02 cents.

If you decide to fix it, take it to a reputeable shop. That silver is hard to match and you need a professional shop to get a good color match.
