Default EXHAUST QUESTION

i recently as of october just got my mustang and havent done anything yet to it. The first thing i want to do is put and exhaust on it. I was looking at Flowmaster American Thunder. Does anyone have a better suggestion. I want a loud deep tone. And I want to get a new H pipe. Does anyone have any suggestions on that either.....please help me out. Thanks.

I love the sound of x-pipes with out cats, but if thats not what your looking for youtube is actually a good place to look. Many videos of exhausts on there, and most list the type of set up.
you might just find the sound you want.

I've got the American Thunder catback with a MAC o/r H pipe and sounds pretty mean. I want LOUDER though, hehe. The interior noise around the 2200-2700 rpm range is nice growl. i love the interior noise!!

here's a decent link to my exhaust. ill get a better one up for ya tomorrow!.(sorry the camera has a ****ty mic on it)

MAC has a pretty good catback, and its got the "loud deep tone" that your lookin for. Here's a couple clips of it with a prochamber mid- pipe....http://youtube.com/watch?v=h8OQClvTcCk..........http://youtube.com/watch?v=xwg1CRF-a...eature=related Enjoy!

I've got Flowmasters on my car and love the sound. It's a pretty cheap mod for the tight budget. You won't make much more HP, but the sound is worth it.

I love the sound of both H and X pipes with Flowmasters.

But H will give you a deeper tone.

I'd say go with the American Thunder Flowmasters and a MAC O/R H pipe. Then if you want it deeper, switch out the 40 Series mufflers for Super 44's.
