Default WHAT WEIGHT DIFF FLUID?

Ok, so after doin a search on the forum, ive been seeing mixed opinions about what weight diff fluid to use. Im going with RP and have heard people using 75W90 as well as 75W140...is there any one thats particularly better or recommended? Thanks guys

I know that 7.5 inch rears take 80w-90 and 8.8 rears take 75w-140,

ok, thanks, Ive been doing a ton of looking and it seems that the majority of people say ford recommends 75W140 for the 8.8s with limited slip...

Yea, I guess the used the 7.5 rears in the V6's.

yeah the sixers have the 7.5...same with the 4 banger and 3.0 2wd rangers

The manual says 75W140 and dont' forget 4 oz of friction modifier.

remember, if you're going to use RP, you don't have to add any friction modifier

I bought friction modifier cause i have a built rear end and I have more clutches in the carrier making it pretty tight...so i bought the FM for safe measure

You don't NEED mdifier if you run redline or RP, but i would recomend it..it won't hurt at all, RP and RL told me to go ahead and add it if i was worried, and i knew they probably didnt have enough for the lsd
