I have a 2002 mustang GT. I added a mac o/r H pipe about 6 months ago. So i obv. get the CEL. I recently bought a pair of bbk MILs. I disconnected the negitive battery terminal andinstalled them on wed. 2/27/08. On Sunday(3/2/08) the light was back on!! I drove the car about 50 miles(give or take) in that time period. Are the eliminators junk?? I was going to buy a tuner instead, but i heard they only erase the CEL and dont send a false signal to the computer saying the cats are working. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!!!!!!

 

ive got the bbk mils too and have had no probs. Might have to drive around more and reset cel again. you do have them connected to rear two o2s right? Might take it to autozone and see what code its throwing just in case

 

After i got the CEL on sunday i reset again. THis time i let it sit for about 30min or so. As of right now i dont have the CEL on. Yes, i have them on the rear o2 sensors. BBK said to try switching the eliminators around.
