Image in threads

I have tried eveything to get my image to show up any hints or anything? It's kinda obnoxous!

lower case img tags, and btw resize it to 500x250 max

this is all I can do, other than embed them in the post itself. It always says that the file exceeds limits or something. I don't know how to resize the photo, haha!

wooooo hoooo thanks guys I appreciate the help and ya I know my phone case is in the shot my digital camera got stolen and my phone camera is all I have!
