Default Buying a GT

Hello guys well I have decided to pick my up a Bullitt to sit next to my 98 Cobra and I had a few questions concerning the 2...

I found 2 in my area and here are the ads:

$15,500.00 Dark Highland Green 37 k miles new tires synthetic oil changes since new
4:10 gears
off road exhaust
cold air intake
custom tune
I have all of the stock parts for the car This car is very clean never eaten or smoked in always garage kept

And the next

$14,500.00 14500oboAbove Added: Mon February 25, 2008, 8:42 pm EST01 mustang bullit, green, #789 car is in excellent condition inside and out,66000 miles, clean car fax, has many performance mods motor has been built turned out about 320 to the rear wheels,

mac longtube headers
mac prochamber
flowmaster
593 lift competition cams
short throw shifter
king cobra clutch
28 spline moser axles
410 gears
sct programmer a custom program plus a nitrious program. motor is built for nitrous but to my knowledge has never had nitrous on it.

Now #2 is looking real good to me, and I can get both of them down under the price listed.
The new moter dropped on #2 has under 30,000 miles on it and is still a 2v. He says it has never used nitrous, but it has a program for it. He says it has 'Dumped" exhaust which I dont know what that is..

If i could get some direction here in what would be a good decision, I would appreciate it. Both have clean Carfax reports, both are numbered Bullitts i got pictures of the stickers on the cars. I am looking for something that will have good performance.

Thanks!

None of the above. A Bullit is only a stock GT with some BS on it. For that much money you could pick up a very clean GT(and have a few thousand to spare) or get a 99/01 Cobra lol.

+1. ur payin for the name basically... its not worth the spoilerless look. yes they have better suspension, better breaks, and a better intake manifold than a STOCK GT, but who keeps GT's stock anyways [8D]

they are practically the same car though.. just without a spoiler. put bullits on your car and remove the spoiler and there u have it! almost looks exactly like a bullit

Yeah way too much money IMO. You can get a CLEAN GT for 10k. I got my 00 for 6k...the leather is pretty ****ty on the 2 front seats but other than that its in pretty damn good shape.

Don't let the bullitt guys see this thread, they think their cars are gods gift to the 2v world, but really it's just a gt with a few small upgrades and a higher price.

$15,500 you can get a lot nicer than a Bullit. I wouldn't buy a modded car anyways, so #2 is out. Mods like that just show how the car was driven. Look for a Mach1 or '99/'01 Cobra.

The Bullitt is a sweet ride, most of the GT guys will constantly complain about them just because theres isn't a Bullitt. But there is a nice amount of small additions you get with the Bullitt.
